Gus Zahariadis is the event planner and coordinator for MIT Open Learning. He leads the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of departmental and special events, from one-hour webinars and day-long trainings to multi-day conferences. 

Zahariadis's role blends strategic planning, logistical and operations coordination, and stakeholder engagement to deliver impactful experiences that support faculty development, community building, and educational innovation. 

He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a bachelor's degree and continued his professional education at Northeastern University.
