MIT 24-Hour Challenge 2024 presents: MIT Open Learning

Join us in a 24-hour giving challenge! A generous alumni donor has made a gift of $20,000 to a fund supporting MIT Open Learning and challenges the MIT community to join him, with a goal of at least 500 people donating to open learning initiatives.
When you donate to MITx, OpenCourseWare, and Open Learning on March 14, MIT’s Giving Day, you and your gift will count towards reaching our challenge goal and will directly support our mission to transform teaching and learning at MIT and around the world with innovative and accessible resources for today’s learners.
About MIT Open Learning
To open learning means every person gains an opportunity to build, invent, and advance their livelihood, community, and world.
At MIT Open Learning, we want to help people pursue learning and teaching, regardless of their location or educational background. Our educators, researchers, and staff are dedicated to making resources like MIT OpenCourseWare and MITx more accessible, especially for those whose education has been disrupted due to displacement or are without local resources. As we develop and implement new educational technologies like artificial intelligence, we center learners and their needs.
By supporting one of our micro-challenges during this year’s MIT Giving Day, you help us empower people anywhere in the globe, providing them with access to knowledge and tools to improve their lives, classrooms, and communities.
