National Academies Webinar on Workforce Education and the Implications of COVID-19
STEP’s Innovation Policy Forum and the Government-University-Industry Research Roundtable will co-host a webinar to discuss workforce education. With special attention to troubling workforce-related economic trends that have been accelerated by the onset of COVID-19, the webinar will highlight a preliminary report of the MIT Open Learning’s Workforce Education Project. The MIT report reviews challenges to workforce education and ways to address these challenges.
The webinar will be held June 8, 2020 from 1:00PM to 2:30PM Eastern Time. (This event reschedules the Innovation Policy Forum event originally planned for April 3, 2020.)
