The 2026 festival will feature a panel discussion with MIT faculty and instructors about bridging campus to the world, and will include the announcement of this year’s Teaching with Digital Technology Award winners. In addition, the event will offer a showcase and drop-in Q/A session to engage with each other about reimagining education at MIT and beyond.

10:15-11:45 Bridging Campus to the World: Panel Discussion with MIT Faculty and Instructors

Given that the Institute is exploring ways to expand our educational reach in new ways that represent the best of MIT, panelists will share their experience of the synergies and challenges of teaching on campus and online.

Poster presentations by DLCI's including: Open Learning, Professional Education, Sloan Executive Education, System Design and Management, Office of Innovation and Strategy / Provost Office

1:00-2:00 Drop-in Q/A Session for Canvas & Tools: Residential Education

The Festival of Learning is a yearly free event for MIT faculty, instructors, students, and staff to engage with each other regarding innovation in teaching and learning.
