Learning Approaches Webinar Series: Design Thinking in Teaching and Learning

Design Thinking is a protocol for imagining human-centered innovations and solutions for ambiguous challenges. Central to teaching and learning in several disciplines in higher education, Design Thinking can also be a powerful tool when working with young people who are poised to take on the world's most pressing problems. In this brief discussion, our invited panelists will explore the advantages of using the design thinking framework for a variety of learners. They will present a few ways of how Design Thinking is implemented in the Higher education and Pk-12 contexts, as well as some outcomes from times when limitless creativity met the Design Thinking steps.
